Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Columbia, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Cardiac Cath Lab position at MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Downtown in Columbia, SC. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 31, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 4x10 days, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekly pay: $2,592
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• On-call requirements: one weekend (Friday–Sunday) per month and one weekday call shift per week; requirements may change based on staffing needs
• Potential call-offs: up to 1 shift per 2 weeks, distributed as needed
• No floating between service lines or sister facilities
• Block scheduling available with manager approval based on unit needs

Clinical Environment

You will care for adult and geriatric patients in a 5-room cath lab with a daily census of approximately 20 cases. Procedures include peripheral and coronary diagnostic and interventional work, cardiac stent placement, left and right heart catheterizations, diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology (EP) lab procedures, Impella insertion, and procedural sedation administration and monitoring. Special equipment includes Impella, balloon pump, Angiojet, and Shock Wave technology.

Interdisciplinary support is available through respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. The facility uses Epic for charting.

Requirements

• Current SC license or Compact license required before start date
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• EP/Cath lab experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Radiation badge required (must be provided by agency)
• 60-mile local radius rule applies
