Occupational Therapist Job in Salida, CO

Heart of the Rockies Medical is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment in Salida, Colorado. You will work 10-hour shifts in a rural outpatient clinic setting, providing occupational therapy services to patients across all age groups.

Your Role:

• Evaluate patients with impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities to determine diagnosis, prognosis, and appropriate intervention
• Design, implement, and modify therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's needs
• Provide hand therapy services with a focus on injury prevention and functional restoration
• Consult with and educate patients on treatment plans and health promotion strategies
• Maintain comprehensive patient records including physician orders, diagnoses, treatment progress, and attendance documentation
• Process and verify patient charges for services in a timely manner

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate degree from an accredited Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate occupational therapy program
• Active Colorado occupational therapy license
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient occupational therapy
• Hand therapy experience required
