Sleep Tech - Polysomnographer

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Schedule runs Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights
• 13-week assignment
• No local candidates within 50 miles considered
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within specialty required
• Prepare adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and equipment for sleep disorders testing
• Monitor polysomnograms and document per policy
• Demonstrate expertise in sleep disorders, sleep activity, abnormalities, movement arousals, and respirations
• Must possess strong written and oral communication skills
• Required certification: Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Must hold current and unrestricted certification or registration as a Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
• Must work 2 major holidays out of the following 3: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day
• Must work 1 minor holiday from the following: Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
