Physical Therapist Job in Pittsfield, MA

Berkshire Visiting Nurse Association - HillCrest Campus is hiring a Physical Therapist for home health services in Pittsfield, MA. This is a temporary position running 91 days, starting October 19, 2026.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour days (days shift)
• Weekly pay: $2,719
• Home health position providing direct physical therapy services to clients in their homes
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Rotating weekends and holiday coverage required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care and collaborate with team members
• Participate in developing comprehensive patient care plans
• Work with rehabilitation equipment including splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, and ADL equipment
• Administer modalities as appropriate for patient needs

Requirements:

• Valid Massachusetts Physical Therapist license (must be uploaded with profile)
• 2+ years of acute nursing care (hospital-based) and home care experience
• Certified home health experience with OASIS proficiency (non-negotiable)
• Home Health Certification required
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Current Physical Therapist skills checklist (within 1 year)
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required
• Commute of 45 minutes or less from office preferred

Acute care experience is preferred. You will work with minimal supervision and manage your caseload independently while maintaining strong collaboration with the care team.
