Mammography Technologist Travel Job in Anchorage, AK

Alaska Regional Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment beginning June 23, 2026. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (40 hours per week), with no holiday, call, or weekend requirements.

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures with 1:1 patient ratios
• Conduct stereotactic guided wire localization and biopsy procedures
• Operate Hologic Selenia Dimensions and Affirm Stereotactic equipment
• Document procedures using Epic EMR and retrieve images via McKesson PACS
• Utilize Volpara analysis tools for image quality assessment
• Float to MRI for breast positioning as needed
• Maintain weekly quality control standards

Required Qualifications:

• ARRT Registered Mammography certification (ARRT (M) (R))
• Current BLS certification
• 8 hours of Tomosynthesis training
• Proficiency in screening and diagnostic mammography
• Strong attention to detail and high-quality positioning skills
• Self-motivated and patient-focused approach to care

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with stereotactic guided biopsies and wire localizations
• Weekly quality control experience

Compensation and Details:

• Weekly pay: $2,774
• 13-week assignment length (91 days)
• Grey or pewter scrubs required
