Telemetry RN Job in Mason City, IA

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry unit. You will provide direct patient care on a day shift schedule, working three 12.5-hour shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. This is a 91-day assignment beginning July 6, 2026.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver nursing care to medical-surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs for patients requiring continuous cardiac surveillance
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Document patient care activities and assessments accurately and in a timely manner
• Educate patients and families regarding medical conditions and treatment plans

Schedule details: You will work every third weekend and every other holiday as required by the unit. This three-day-per-week model allows for extended time off between work blocks while maintaining continuity of patient care.

As a travel RN, you will bring your clinical expertise to support this facility's mission while building your professional experience across different care settings. You will work alongside experienced clinical staff in a 240-bed medical center serving the Mason City community.
