Radiation Therapist Job in York, PA

WellSpan York Hospital is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements.

About the Role

You'll deliver external beam therapy to adult patients, managing a daily census of 65–70 cases. Your responsibilities include:

• Operating True Beam equipment for external beam therapy and IMRT
• Creating custom molds and shields
• Performing tumor localization and radiation safety protocols
• Using various imaging systems for treatment planning and verification
• Documenting care in the Epic charting system

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience
• Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology Program
• Current ARRT certification
• BLS certification
• Associates Degree or higher
• Demonstrated True Beam experience
• Epic system proficiency

What to Expect

You'll complete approximately 5–6 hours of pre-start onboarding modules. The clinical team will review your background to confirm fit, and a manager interview is required. Maximum requested time off is 7 days during the assignment.

The facility maintains a tobacco and fragrance-free environment. You'll work exclusively with adult patients in a supportive clinical setting.
