Certified Surgical Technologist Job in Keene, NH

Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, NH is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work a 4x10 day shift, with weekend availability and potential holiday block requirements as scheduled.

Role Overview

You will primarily function in a scrubbing capacity with the potential to assist in circulating duties within the surgical suite. Your responsibilities include maintaining aseptic technique, providing a quiet OR environment, and collaborating on suite preparation. You will use and maintain specialized equipment and supplies for specific surgical procedures while working within a surgery department that specializes in endocrine, breast and oncologic, gastrointestinal and colon and rectal (open and laparoscopic), and hepatobiliary procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years current CST experience
• High proficiency in ortho, total joints, and neuro
• Scrubbing experience in general, ortho, neuro, and endo required
• BLS (AHA) certification
• NBSTSA certification
• New Hampshire Medical Technician Registration (must be in hand at profile upload)
• Skills checklist current within one year
• At least one supervisory signed reference from within the past two years (two preferred)
• Own vehicle required for this assignment

Additional Details

On-call responsibilities are required; travelers unwilling to accept call will not be considered. You must be willing to work at least two of the following holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after; Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after; New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and weekend after. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted and must be noted at submission. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to adapt to stressful situations quickly and effectively.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,242. Assignment begins November 9, 2026.
