Emergency Department RN Job in Utica, NY

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• 8-week assignment duration
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Charge capability highly preferred
• Floating to other units required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must have 2+ years of emergency department experience with pediatric experience
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (must be in hand)
• Active NY nursing license required with all RN licenses verified through NURSYS
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Care for patients with common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Work with specialty equipment including rapid infusor and Arctic Sun
• Provide care for patients of all ages: newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• Work in 64-bed emergency department with 2 triage beds, 40 acute beds, 6 super track, 2 trauma beds, 10 CDU, and 6 psych beds
