CVOR RN Job in McKinney, TX

Medical City McKinney is seeking a Registered Nurse with cardiovascular operating room experience for a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work three 12-hour day shifts per week—Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM—in a 7-suite OR environment alongside a team of 45 staff members.

Role Details:

• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge RN, 6–7 RNs, 6–7 CSTs, orderly, and anesthesia technicians
• Typical procedures: orthopedic, neurosurgery, robotics, general surgery, trauma, and urology
• On-call requirements: approximately 10–15 days per month
• EMR system: Meditech

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year operating room experience required
• Neurosurgery and orthopedic/spine experience required
• General/trauma OR skills required
• Trauma center experience preferred
• Current BLS certification
• No Labor & Delivery–only experience

What to Expect:

You'll change into hospital-provided scrubs daily and work with various OR equipment throughout the department. The role requires a positive attitude and strong teamwork with your OR colleagues. This is a hands-on cardiovascular surgery position at a facility equipped with modern surgical suites and a collaborative team structure.

Start date: April 13, 2026. Weekly pay: $2,102.40. This is a 91-day assignment in McKinney, Texas.
