RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work day/night rotation schedule with 36 hours per week
• On-call responsibilities required
• Care for patients on a 36-bed adult surgical unit
• Primarily treat orthopedic and trauma patients as well as other specialties including plastics and general surgery
• Focus on mobilizing and rehabilitating patients in a very busy unit environment
• Required experience with chest tubes, various tubes and drains
• Must be experienced with drips including Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, and amiodarone
• Handle lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients
• Care for patients with trachs and laryngectomies
• Telemetry monitoring experience required
• Manage complex wounds
• Provide central line care, maintenance, and blood draws
