Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM with day shifts and weekends as needed
• Every other weekend required, sometimes less
• Holiday coverage required based on scheduling needs
• No call or standby call anticipated
• Float within the hospital and to outpatient/clinic areas as needed for RRT response
• 2-3 shifts of unit/department specific orientation depending on experience
• Cancellation policy allows up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
• Charting system: EPIC
• Solo RT on shift - must be comfortable working independently, advocating, troubleshooting, and prioritizing time management
• Cover hospital areas including ER, medical/surgical, and outpatient clinic
• Perform ABG draws and analysis, breathing treatments, BiPAP, CPAP, and ventilator management
• Assist with intubations, manage vent settings for holds, and perform all RT interventions for neonates including LMAs
• Perform EKGs in hospital and outpatient clinic settings
• Provide outpatient clinic services including pediatric nasal suction and Holter monitors
• Handle patient population ranging from NICU to geriatrics including ski traumas, cycling accidents, and routine breathing treatments
• Work with Drager vents, Hamilton transport vent, and related respiratory equipment
• Clean scrubs in any color required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting required
• NICU, delivery, and adult experience required
• Pediatric and neonatal experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP (through AAOP), PALS, RRT, STABLE Certification
