Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work night shift with 36 weekly guaranteed hours
• Weekend hours: 36 hours
• No on-call requirements
• Float to all areas of the hospital treating patients ranging from newborns to adults
• Work in ICU, ER, Nursery (Level 1), and Med-Surge floors
• Treat pediatric patients requiring intubation and mechanical ventilation in the ER
• Attend high-risk C-sections and participate as part of the resuscitation team in the Nursery
• Operate equipment including Drager V500 ventilators, V60 BiPAP, Hamilton T-1 transport ventilator, Airvo high-flow oxygen units, NeoFP, and RAM cannula
• Document using EPIC EMR system
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Adult critical care, NICU, and PICU experience preferred
• Must be comfortable and competent treating newborns and critically ill pediatric patients
• Strong assessment skills required
• Must be a team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Scrubs required; any color acceptable
• Required certifications: RRT, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS
