Job Details:

• Perform diagnostic tests including pulmonary function tests, arterial blood gas analysis, and sleep studies
• Administer and monitor various forms of respiratory therapy including oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and inhalation therapy
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, breathing techniques, and proper use of respiratory equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and sleep technologists to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records and documentation
• Stay current with latest developments in respiratory therapy and continuously improve patient care processes
• Work with respiratory equipment and monitoring devices
• Provide patient education and family support services
