Job Details:

• Work in a day health center providing direct care to day health clients
• Provide supportive, therapeutic, and recreational activities to clients
• Take vital signs and measure output
• Recognize abnormal signs and symptoms
• Assist with activities of daily living including eating/feeding, providing fluids, bathing, and dressing
• Provide restorative care including use and application of assistive devices
• Assist with range of motion activities and bowel and bladder training
• Properly use bed pans, urinals, and/or commodes
• Follow universal precautions and infection control protocols
• Apply proper body mechanics techniques
• Must have valid State of Hawaii Nurse Aide Certificate certification
• Must demonstrate knowledge of basic nursing skills, aging process, first aid, and patient rights
• Must understand basic medical and nursing terminology
