PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Details:

• Work in a fast-paced hospital environment treating a variety of diagnoses
• Handle common mix of orthopedics, neurological and critical care caseloads
• Minimum one year hospital acute care experience required (new graduates with strong acute clinical rotations will be considered)
• Degree from an accredited school approved by CAPTE required
• Current Maryland Physical Therapy state licensure or eligibility required
• Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association certification required
• Experience with EMR documentation systems required
• Deliver quality physical therapy services according to treatment plans
• Document progress toward identified objectives and maintain accurate, timely documentation
• Provide one-on-one patient care across the lifespan
• Conduct patient and family education
• Participate in promoting positive work environment and teamwork
• Display strong skills in flexibility, time management, leadership, and communication
• Focus on exceptional customer service excellence
