ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED Peds

Job Details:

• Rotating day, evening, and night shift schedules
• Weekend, holiday, on-call, callback, and charge shifts per unit needs
• 48 hours per week strongly preferred
• Provide family-centered emergency and urgent care to pediatric patients under the age of 19
• Work in a Level 1 pediatric trauma and burn center environment
• Operate across 18 general care beds, 1 critical care bed, 4 urgent care beds, and a shared 7-bed trauma bay
• Handle a complex case mix ranging from treat-and-release to acute critical care and trauma cases
• Work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric emergency department experience required
• Burn care experience highly desirable
• New York RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, ATCN, ABLS
