Endoscopy RN Job in Asheville, NC

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the endoscopy department at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. This is a travel assignment with a start date of September 21, 2026, running for 91 days at $2,465 per week.

Schedule and Shift Details

• 4x10 day shift schedule (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Variable hours based on unit volume
• Night shift call team only for overnight coverage
• Two 24-hour weekend call shifts every 6 weeks plus one night of call per week
• Scheduling flexibility required; block scheduling for travel home is not routinely accommodated

Role and Responsibilities

• Perform endoscopic procedures including EBUS, bronchoscopy, ION, EGD, colonoscopy, EUS, and ERCP
• Work in a 9 pre-op bay, 4 procedure room, and 6 PACU bay endoscopy unit
• Manage variable patient ratios based on unit volume
• May float to Main PACU, Phase II, Pre-Op, or OR if you have prior experience in those areas

Experience and Certifications

• Minimum 2 years of in-hospital endoscopy experience required
• Pulmonary procedural experience preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

Equipment and Systems

• Equipment: Olympus scopes and processors, ION, Olympus ultrasound machine, and ERBE units
• EMR systems: Cerner and Provation
• Surgical scrubs provided
