Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work on a 36-bed medical telemetry unit (5W Medicine 610) on the 5th floor
• Day shift staffing ratio of 1:5/6 and night shift staffing ratio of 1:6/7
• Must sign up for 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday count as weekend shifts on night shift)
• Utilize medical remote telemetry monitoring, Cerner Patient Observation (CPO), and VC150s in every patient room
• Use workstation on wheels for documentation and Tap and Go for computer access
• Document using Cerner EMR
• Prepare patients for Endoscopy, IR, and OR procedures
• Floating may be required to sister units: Med-Surge 3W, 5W, and K8
• Dress code: Navy blue top and bottom, white top and navy blue bottom, or all white scrubs
• Must be hard-working, compassionate, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Required certification: BLS
• CMSRN certification encouraged
• Medical telemetry experience required
• BSN, charge nurse experience, and leadership experience preferred
