Description
<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 8-hour PM/NOC variable shifts with flexibility required<br>• PM shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM and night shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM<br>• 13-week contract position with 40-48 guaranteed hours per week (minimum 40, up to 48 with overtime after 48 hours)<br>• Float team position rotating between observation unit, cardiac unit, medical unit, surgical unit, ortho/neuro unit, inpatient rehab, and/or transitional care unit<br>• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required<br>• No on-call or call back requirements<br>• Patient ratios: Day shift 1:4, PM shift 1:4/1:5, NOC shift 1:6 occasionally 1:7<br>• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart), Active RN or Compact license, NIHSS (can be completed during orientation)<br>• Minimum 1-2+ years Med/Surg experience required<br>• Must have experience with venipuncture and Cardizem<br>• Epic charting experience required within the past 2 years<br>• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred<br>• Dress code: No bright colors or character prints<br>• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility<br>• 8-hour unbillable orientation required<br>• Must start medical compliance within 48 hours of accepted offer</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization is a comprehensive medical center providing a full range of medical and surgical services to the community.
