Cath Lab Technologist Job in Alamogordo, NM

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 63-day travel assignment at CHRISTUS SNM Alamogordo Cardiac Catheterization Lab in Alamogordo, New Mexico. You will work 4 days per week on 10-hour day shifts, with call requirements every other weekend from Friday 4:00 PM to Monday 5:59 AM. This full-time position provides backfill for a vacant role.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating essential equipment including fluoroscopy imaging and digital image acquisition systems
• Preparing the catheterization lab and verifying all equipment is operational before procedures
• Documenting patient information and hemodynamic measurements with accuracy
• Maintaining strict aseptic technique and adhering to patient safety standards throughout all procedures
• Collaborating with the medical team to optimize patient outcomes and departmental efficiency
• Serving as radiation safety representative during X-ray usage
• Supporting physicians during procedures by anticipating needs and ensuring patient safety
• Performing daily room checks and stocking supplies
• Training on specialized cath lab technologies including IVUS, ICE, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic systems
• Managing patient transport as appropriate and maintaining proficiency in access site management

Required Qualifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA only) certifications are mandatory. You must hold New Mexico state licensure as RRT or FUS by MIRTP NMED. Graduation from an accredited radiology technology school or an associate's degree in a healthcare field is required.

Preferred Qualifications: RCIS, RCES, RCS, or ARRT registrations are preferred. A bachelor's degree is preferred. Zero to one year of experience in an acute care setting is preferred.

Compensation: You will receive $2,904 per week. Start date is March 30, 2026.
