Special Procedures Technologist Job in Springfield, MA

Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, MA is seeking an Allied Health Professional to work as an Interventional Radiology Technician. This is a 90-day travel position beginning July 6, 2026, offering competitive compensation and the opportunity to expand your clinical expertise in a specialized setting.

Position Details

• Day shift: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, five days per week
• On-call responsibilities every other weekend
• Holiday on-call duties with rotation schedule
• Weekly pay: $3,289

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures and provide technical support
• Assist with imaging-guided minimally invasive procedures
• Operate specialized radiology equipment during interventional cases
• Support physicians during complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures

Requirements

• BLS certification required
• Allied Health Professional credential as an Interventional Radiology Technician

You will work directly with interventional radiologists and the procedural team to ensure safe, effective patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role demands attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to anticipate physician and patient needs during complex procedures.
