Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - CVOR Tech

Job Details:

• 8-hour shifts with variable start times, schedule created by manager
• High volume of orthopedic cases including total joints, general surgery, gynecology, and pediatrics
• Eye cases included - no prior experience required
• Cardiac cases (open heart, carotid endarterectomies, TAVRs) are performed at the facility but travelers will not be assigned to these cases
• 7 OR suites with 15-20 cases per day
• One weekend of call per month required
• 1 call night per week required
• 30-minute call response time required
• Holiday work required for emergencies only
• Scrubs are provided
• No floating required
• Orientation length depends on individual skillset
• EMR system: Cerner Surginet
• Sterile processing equipment used: Steris & V-pro autoclave
• Required certifications: BLS Certification, CST
• Sterile processing technicians must be certified through IAHCSMM
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• No BSN required
