Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Perform 2-D M-mode and cardiac Doppler procedures
• Perform exercise echo and transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) procedures
• Assist in preparation of contrast studies
• Enter charges for services and prepare reports
• Provide after-hour and weekend coverage on a rotational basis
• Proficiency with Epic charting system required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Required certifications: RCS or RDCS (ARDMS RDCS AE or CCI), BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Required skills include: 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, Diastology, Imaging with Contrast Agents, LV Strain/LV Volume, M-Mode, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Philips, Portable Studies, procedures on patients in ICU/ED settings, Proximal Isovelocity Surface Area, Right Ventricular Inflow Tract (RVIT), Right Ventricular Outflow Tract (RVOT), Simpson's Rule, Treadmill Stress Echo, and Isolation Precautions/PPE
