Cardiovascular Technologist - CVOR Tech

Job Details:

• Variable day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• On-call requirements include 1 night of call per week, 1 weekend per month, and 1 backup per week with a 30-minute response time (must be ready and in the OR within 30 minutes)
• May occasionally require additional mandated call
• Weekend and holiday rotation as needed
• May be required to float to all Central Aspirus locations if needed
• Set up operative suites for patients and ensure all supplies are available by going through case carts
• Scrub surgical cases in a variety of specialties and turn over rooms for multiple procedures throughout the day
• Work alongside 3 cardiothoracic surgeons with approximately 50-60 cases per month
• Required skills include cardiac/thoracic experience and thoracic robot experience
• Must be willing to complete downtime tasks such as pulling case carts and cleaning
• Charting completed using Epic
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Required certifications: BLS and CST license (NBSTSA or NCCT accepted); AHA or ARC certifications required
• Required education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree or Certificate preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of CVOR experience required
• Prior travel experience required
