RN - Oncology

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday, with shift start times beginning around 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Clinic hours are 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM with variable start times
• Possibility of working four 9-hour shifts with a set day off when applicable
• No weekend or holiday requirements
• No on-call or standby requirements
• Minimum 2 years of outpatient oncology experience required
• Radiation oncology experience preferred but all oncology experience will be considered
• Triage experience preferred
• Must be proficient in starting IVs
• Required certifications: BLS; ONC preferred
• Charting system: EPIC
• Job duties include triage, outgoing phone calls, phone assessments, patient education, care coordination, and patient assessments
• Common patient diagnoses include solid tumor and benign heme conditions such as breast, prostate, GI, and lung cancers
• May float to up to 4 outpatient oncology sites in Treasure Valley including Boise, Meridian, Nampa, and Fruitland
• Scrub color: Any color as long as clean and professional
• Will never work alone - other RNs will always be present
