RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Perform a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments
• Work independently in completing assignments following physician's orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures, and hospital policies
• Provide nursing support to individuals of all ages and their families
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a nurse in an acute or sub-acute facility required
• Valid, current, full, and unrestricted nursing license to practice in any U.S. state, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory required
• Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
• Must complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire
• Must complete National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within six months of hire
