About this role
St Joseph Hospital - Nashua is seeking a Registered Nurse for its rehabilitation unit. You will deliver professional nursing care to patients in an assigned rehabilitation setting, working rotating shifts. This is a 91-day travel position beginning July 13, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,496.60.
Your responsibilities include:
- Render professional nursing care to patients within the assigned rehabilitation unit
- Provide comprehensive clinical documentation including care plans each shift
- Communicate patient information through bedside shift report, multidisciplinary rounds, and hourly rounding using AIDET methodology
- Participate in daily unit-based safety huddles
- Monitor and maintain awareness of unit-based nurse-sensitive indicators such as CAUTI, CLABSI, CDIFF, HAPU, falls, hand hygiene, and VAE
- Actively participate in quality initiatives and performance improvement efforts
- Effectively delegate aspects of care and unit activities to other nursing personnel
- Collaborate in planning, supervising, and instructing other nurses and assistants
- Serve as preceptor for new nurses when applicable
Required qualifications:
- Current New Hampshire RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Completion of dysrhythmia course prior to completion of orientation
Preferred qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved nursing program
- Basic Dysrhythmia certification or willingness to obtain prior to completion of orientation
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training or willingness to obtain prior to completion of orientation
