<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>SLP - SLP</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders<br>• Develop appropriate plans of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards<br>• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions<br>• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly in clinical records<br>• Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness and modify services based on patient evaluation<br>• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers<br>• Communicate effectively with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans<br>• Provide comprehensive discharge summaries of services per regulatory requirements<br>• Document all required information in electronic documentation system and maintain patient records<br>• Accurately record treatment minutes for services provided per regulatory requirements<br>• Participate in required meetings including patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings<br>• Attend facility and company required trainings, in-services, and conferences<br>• Obtain necessary DME or supplies per regulatory and clinical practice requirements<br>• Supervise and support CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists<br>• Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends unless holiday falls within weekdays<br>• Make up hours on weekends when holidays occur during the week<br>• No on-call responsibilities<br>• 1 year of SLP experience required (new grads acceptable with Level II experience)<br>• LTC or Rehab experience required<br>• Missouri State License required<br>• CCC certified SLP required<br>• 3 years experience holding active CCS preferred<br>• Must adhere to ASHA and State Required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility specializes in comprehensive rehabilitation services, providing speech-language pathology services to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
