PT - Physical Therapist Acute Care

Job Details:

• Work 5 x 8-hour shifts with weekend rotation
• Schedule could be Monday-Friday or Friday-Tuesday
• Patient ratios: 4 patients during days, 2 patients on weekends
• Treat patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle daily census of 30 patients with 30 visits per day
• Work with wide range of diagnoses including orthopedic, neurological, and pulmonary conditions
• Specialize in total joint patients, pacemaker and stent cases
• Use Allscripts charting system (required experience)
• Altera charting experience preferred but not required
• Must have BLS certification
• 2 years experience in service line required
• Travel experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Must complete facility drug screen upon arrival including marijuana testing
• Complete 6-8 hours of non-billable orientation modules
• Work with interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, social services, and rapid response teams
