Physical Therapist Job in Santa Fe, NM

CHRISTUS St Vincent Regional Medical Center is seeking a Physical Therapist for a full-time travel position in Santa Fe, NM. You will work day shift hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, for a 91-day assignment beginning September 28, 2026. This role offers $2,770 weekly pay.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to determine physical and cognitive abilities of inpatients and outpatients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals in collaboration with patients and families
• Maintain thorough documentation including initial evaluations, daily and weekly progress notes, discharge summaries, and appropriate notations
• Participate in patient care conferences, family conferences, in-service programs, and departmental meetings
• Counsel patients, families, and involved individuals regarding evaluation, care, and treatment
• Initiate and complete discharge planning with timely, effective education and training
• Assist with coordination and supervision of Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant student and volunteer programs
• Support clinical aspects of the department, including orientation of new associates and patient scheduling
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities
• Maintain awareness of community agencies and resources for appropriate referrals
• Supervise Licensed Physical Therapy Assistants, Rehab Technicians, and Volunteers

Required Qualifications:

• Current New Mexico Physical Therapist Licensure
• BLS certification via AHA
• Bachelor's, Master's, or entry-level Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited college or university
• Proficiency with all modalities and equipment used by a Physical Therapist
