Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population includes adults to geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH
• Patient ratio: 1:4-5 on a 16-room telemetry unit
• Must be proficient in Epic charting system (required), Pyxis, and SBAR
• Scrub color requirement: Navy Blue
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• RTO blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
• Every other weekend schedule unless specified elsewhere
• Floating required within facility and scope of practice as needed
• No call requirements
• Holiday work required based on assignment period: work one major holiday if one falls during assignment, work both if two fall during assignment, work two of three if three fall during assignment
• Full compliance required to start on time; delays result in 2-week pushback due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
• 36 hours of orientation based on assignment length
• Treat patients with diagnoses including CHF, MI/chest pain, dysrhythmias, hypertension/hypotension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and PE/DVT/vascular issues
• Must manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration including milrinone, dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Lidocaine, Bumex, and Heparin
• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred (Manager level or above)
