About this role

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a registered nurse for a float pool position at Finger Lakes Health Geneva General Hospital in Geneva, NY. You will work 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) with every other weekend and holiday rotation requirements. This assignment runs for 96 weeks beginning June 22, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $2,445.30.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care across multiple units including ICU, Emergency Room, Med/Surg, and MST
  • Complete on-call shifts (2 per 4-week period)
  • Cross-train and maintain competency across assigned units
  • Deliver age-appropriate care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
  • Handle confidential patient information with discretion
  • Operate electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office applications

Required Qualifications

  • Current New York State registered professional nurse license
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Critical Care units
  • Critical care experience required
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association), and NIHSS certifications
  • Basic Coronary Care certification (required within 6 months of hire)
  • CPI certification (required within 90 days of hire)

Recommended Certifications

  • Emergency Nurses Association certification (within 2 years)
  • TNCC (within 2 years)

You will demonstrate behaviors aligned with Healing Environment principles and maintain the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced critical care setting while floating between units. Computer literacy and electronic medical record experience are essential.
