PCU Registered Nurse Job in Atlanta, GA

Grady Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a float pool role that rotates across PCU and intermediate care floors serving a cardiac patient population.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care with a ratio of 1:3–4 patients per shift
• Manage acute cardiac presentations including STEMI, NSTEMI, and chest pain
• Administer and monitor cardiac infusions such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and vasopressors
• Cover telemetry beds within the unit as needed for lower acuity patients
• Document and communicate using the EPIC electronic medical record system
• Maintain BLS and ACLS certifications throughout your assignment

Schedule and Duration:

This position offers a night shift schedule working three 12-hour shifts per week. The assignment is 89 days, with a start date of July 20, 2026. Minimal time off is requested during your tenure.

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a comparable acute care facility
• Active BLS certification
• Active ACLS certification
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR or ability to learn quickly

Compensation:

Weekly pay is $1,838.02. You will work as a travel nurse with ADEX Healthcare Staffing, receiving the full support of our team throughout your assignment.
