Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour night shifts from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Tuesday through Friday with holiday rotation
• First week may include day shift orientation, then set schedule begins following week
• On-call responsibilities required - must report within 1 hour when called
• On-call schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, weekends 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Float to other pediatric imaging locations for critical staffing coverage as needed
• May float to other buildings on same campus when required
• Daily caseload varies per technologist
• Work with pediatric patients including neonates, infants, adolescents, and adults
• Perform inpatient/outpatient procedures, fluoroscopy, portable X-rays, OR and ED imaging
• Operate Siemens diagnostic equipment and C-Arms
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• OR experience and C-arm experience required (additional training available)
• O-arm experience preferred (training available)
• Trauma experience and pediatrics experience preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, SQRSA (South Carolina license)
• Must provide own radiation badge (facility does not provide to travelers)
• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Dress code: Teal top/black bottoms
• Epic charting system
• 8 hours of orientation
• South Carolina license must be in hand prior to start
• Parking fee: $20 one-time payment for nights and weekends pass
• Hurricane season assignment: may be assigned to emergency response teams June through November
