Interventional Radiology

Opportunity:

RN - IR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour day shifts, 5 days per week
• Every other weekend rotation required
• On-call rotation for weeknights and weekends
• First to float when needed
• Assist Interventional Radiologist with imaging invasive procedures including paras, thoras, biopsies, and drainage
• Monitor sedation patients and assist with sedations
• Coordinate IR MD schedule and work with floor RNs regarding patients
• Work with imaging techs regarding procedures
• Place PIVs, assist with pacers, and other procedural support
• Handle 8-15 cases per day on average working with both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Pediatric patients are a possibility
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Experience in Interventional Radiology preferred
• Work with Cerner EMR system and MRI safe pumps/EKG monitors
• Navy blue scrub color required
• 3-4 shifts of department-specific orientation provided (all day shifts)
• BSN not required
