Telemetry RN Job in Leonardtown, MD

You will work as a Registered Nurse on a 34-bed Telemetry unit at MedStar Saint Marys Hospital in Leonardtown, Maryland. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026, with a weekly pay of $1,969.92.

Schedule and Environment

• 3x12 night shifts: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Patient ratio: 1:6
• Daily census: 27 patients
• Weekends and holidays required per unit needs
• Scrub color: Caribbean Blue

Clinical Responsibilities

You will care for adult patients with diagnoses including congestive heart failure, MI, atrial fibrillation, cardiac dysrhythmias, stroke/TIA, end stage renal disease, and other complex conditions. You must be skilled in ER holding, telemetry interpretation, and dysrhythmia management. You will work with specialized equipment including ceiling lifts, Sabina lifts, Accuchecks, 12-lead EKGs, and Telestroke technology.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Current RN license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 completed travel assignment
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Ability to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity

Support and Orientation

You will receive 24 hours of orientation. The unit has interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams to assist with patient care.
