CMA Job in Farmington, CT

Join UConn Musculoskeletal Institute and Surgery Center as a Certified Medical Assistant in Farmington, CT. This is a 364-day travel assignment beginning July 10, 2026, offering 5 days per week on day shifts.

Role Overview

You will work 8-hour day shifts with a 7:45 AM start time in an outpatient orthopedics setting. You will support a variety of specialty providers while maintaining an efficient, organized clinical environment. There is no float requirement for this position. Mandatory overtime may be required on an as-needed basis to ensure unit coverage as part of a rotation pool.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program (CAAHEP or ABHES)
• Current CMA certification by AAMA or equivalent certifying body
• Current BLS certification
• Epic experience is a plus

Compensation

Weekly pay is $1,752.
