OR Registered Nurse Job in Americus, GA

Phoebe Sumter Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room. This is a 119-day travel assignment beginning July 20, 2026.

Position Details

• Role: OR Registered Nurse in an acute care setting
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (5x8 days)
• Weekly compensation: $2,448
• One weekend shift required within each six-week period
• One day per week of on-call duty required

Facility Information

You will work at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center, a full-service acute care facility. The OR uses the MEDITECH charting system.

Requirements

• Valid nursing license (RN)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• BSN not required

Operational Details

The facility maintains a 12-hour cancellation policy within any two-week period. You will be part of a collaborative OR team supporting surgical cases across all specialties.
