PCU RN Travel Job in Shawnee Mission, Kansas

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. This 90-day travel assignment begins June 17, 2026, and offers you the opportunity to provide intermediate-level patient care in a stepdown environment.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week
• Duration: 90 days
• Weekly pay: $1,838.02
• Every third weekend requirement (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• No on-call requirements

Your Role

You will care for patients transitioning between intensive care and medical-surgical units. Your patients require closer monitoring than general medical floors but less intensive intervention than ICU-level care. You will monitor telemetry, manage advanced medical equipment, and provide hands-on nursing care that bridges the gap between acute and standard care settings.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Required nursing certifications current and valid
• Float capability to other units as assigned
