<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - ED ER</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work in a 101-bed Emergency Department at a Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center<br>• Handle high volume emergency department with over 100,000 visits annually<br>• Patient ratios: 4:1 typically for medical patients, up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds<br>• Every other weekend scheduling requirement<br>• Must be flexible to work in all areas of the ED (no floating outside of ED)<br>• 2 years nursing experience required with at least 1 year in ER setting<br>• Previous HCA experience preferred<br>• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS (all before start date), ENPC within 90 days of hire<br>• Use Cerner documentation system<br>• Work with Baxter pumps and GE monitors<br>• Navy scrubs required<br>• Follow AIDET protocols and maintain respectful patient experience standards<br>• Must demonstrate teamwork mentality and ability to coach and provide real-time feedback<br>• Keep patient boards updated with information throughout visits</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates a high-volume emergency department serving as both a Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center.
