PCU Nurse Job in Omaha, NE

You'll work as an RN in the Progressive Care Unit at CHI Health Immanuel in Omaha, Nebraska. This 91-day travel assignment offers 3x12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM to 7:00 AM) with every other weekend and every third holiday required. You'll earn $2,417.76 per week.

The PCU is a 35-bed fast-paced unit where you'll care for adults and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, diabetes, and continuous EEG monitoring needs. Your patient ratio will be 1:4–5, and you'll titrate drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications. You may float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab units as needed.

Orientation and Requirements:

• First week onboarding followed by 1–2 days of floor orientation
• Pass an open book exam on Friday during orientation with a 90% score
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• BSN not required
• EPIC charting system
• Valid driver's license required at submittal
• Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility

You'll work independently with no call or standby requirements. The role values positive attitude, strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
