Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend schedule with holidays as needed
• Patient ratio of 6:1 across all shifts
• Float required when census is down across all Cone Health facilities
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• 48 hours of orientation provided
• Must pass mandatory EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred, NIHSS
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• Care for observation patients, respiratory conditions, general medical/surgical diagnoses, palliative/end of life/hospice patients, psychiatric observation, diabetes management, and surgical patients
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV management, wound care, chest tube management, and various specialized nursing procedures
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations on a 30-bed unit
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Must complete full compliance file by 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date
