<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Medical Assistant - Medical Assistant</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Permanent placement position with immediate start availability<br>• Self-scheduling in 4-week blocks with minimum of 6 shifts per 4-week block<br>• Variable schedule including days, evenings, nights, and weekends as part of 24/7/365 coverage model<br>• Current shift options include 10-hour evenings (1:00 PM - 11:00 PM) and 12-hour days/nights (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)<br>• Weekend, night, and holiday work shared equally among all team members<br>• May float between Dallas and Plano campuses<br>• In-house night call responsibilities shared among oriented team members<br>• Required licenses and certifications: TX PA License, PAC-PA, BLS, PALS, NRP (will review candidates without NRP but must obtain)<br>• Critical care experience required - willing to consider comparable skillsets with critical care background (CICU, CVICU, NICU, ER)<br>• Experience required with arterial line placement, central venous line placement, chest tube placement, endotracheal intubation, lumbar puncture, PICC placement<br>• Master&#39;s degree required<br>• Dallas campus PICU: 4-6 patients during day shifts; Plano campus PICU: 6-8 patients during day shifts<br>• Night call includes all patients assigned to team at checkout plus any new admissions<br>• Provide medical care for critically ill pediatric patients with single organ and multi-organ illness<br>• Hours not guaranteed during orientation week or when unit is closed<br>• No orientation offered the last Mondays of the month</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This leading pediatric medical center specializes in providing comprehensive healthcare services for children and is affiliated with a prestigious university medical system.
