About this role

CHI Health St Elizabeth in Lincoln, NE is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist (Allied Health Professional) for a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 3, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM (5x8 days)
  • Every-other-weekend call rotation: Friday 7:00 PM to Saturday 7:00 AM and Saturday 7:00 AM to Sunday 7:00 AM
  • Weeknight call: 2 nights per rotation, 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM
  • 2 holidays required if they fall during your contract period
  • Weekly pay: $2,476.80

Role Responsibilities

  • Perform 10–12 scans per day across general ultrasound, abdominal, OB/GYN, breast imaging and procedures, NICU imaging, IR procedures, OR cases, and doppler studies
  • Conduct neonatal head, kidney, and occasional spine scanning
  • Assist with breast biopsies and interventional radiology cases
  • Transport patients for other modalities when volumes are low
  • Communicate and document thoroughly with radiologists and clinical providers

Equipment & Systems

  • Work with 3 Siemens Sequoia ultrasound scanners
  • Use EPIC charting system and McKesson PACS

Required Qualifications

  • ARDMS and BLS (AHA) certification
  • Valid driver's license at time of submittal
  • Demonstrated experience with abdominal and/or OB/GYN ultrasound
  • Proficiency in breast imaging, procedures, and NICU imaging

Additional Requirements

  • Slate grey scrubs required
  • Cell phone communication mandatory; personal and work email provided

You will join a collaborative team and work directly with radiologists and clinical staff. This is a hands-on role requiring strong communication skills and the ability to manage a consistent daily scan volume while meeting on-call obligations.
