Ultrasound Technologist Job in Durango, CO

Mercy Hospital in Durango, Colorado is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 4x10 hour shifts on days, with start time options between 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform 8–10 ultrasound scans or studies per day, sometimes more
• Conduct General, OB/GYN, Vascular, Procedures, Drains, and Biopsies imaging
• Operate four scanner rooms equipped with Phillips ultrasound equipment
• Use EPIC charting system and Fuji PACS for documentation
• No floating to other departments required
• No IV starts required

Schedule and On-Call

• Call requirements include 1–2 nights per week and every third weekend
• Weekend requirements apply except when on call
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Must be available for one week of in-state orientation

Requirements

• Strong General and OB/GYN experience required; Vascular experience preferred
• Procedures experience is a must-have skill
• ARDMS certification (RDMS for General or OB/GYN required); RVT preferred; RDCS a bonus
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Valid driver's license with ability to work within 60-mile radius
• Must provide your own radiography badge
• Professional color scrubs required (not provided by facility)

Compensation and Details

Weekly pay is $2,482. Department-specific orientation will be provided. Assignment begins June 22, 2026.
