Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour shifts with every other weekend required
• Must have written confirmation of comfort with every other weekend requirement before submission
• Minimum 2 years experience required with children's hospital experience within the last 3 years
• Must have Labor & Delivery experience as primary placement will be in L&D
• NICU or PICU experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBRC RRT, Indiana State License
• NRP required for those placed in L&D (can be obtained once offered)
• PALS preferred
• Education must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA
• Indiana state license required - accepts IN temp license but must have applied for permanent license
• Home unit assignment of NICU, PICU, or Peds determined upon arrival but can change based on facility needs
• Floating required between PICU, NICU, and Peds units
• May also float to affiliate hospital locations
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• First time travelers accepted
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
