Electrophysiology Technician

Opportunity:

Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no on-call responsibilities
• Work in an acute care setting across 3 electrophysiology suites in a combined unit
• Average of 22 total cases between Cath Lab and EP, may start with 15 and take up to 15 add-on cases
• Perform and assist with ablations, atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, and advanced EP procedures
• Responsibilities include circulating and assisting; core staff handles the majority of documentation
• Scrubbing in is not required
• Must be experienced with sedation and Phase 1 recovery; ICU or PACU experience is a plus
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required in both Cath Lab and EP
• EPIC charting system experience preferred
• Expected to be a team player and assist where needed in a one-team approach environment
• Will work alongside a charge or lead nurse and a lead tech when staffing allows
• Work with St. Jude and Webster EP equipment
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
• Required certifications: BLS, RCES, RCIS
• Eligible technologist credentials: RCIS, RT, or RCE
