Description
Opportunity:
RN - Cath Lab
Job Details:
• 4x10 shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with some early shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM (or until structural heart procedure is completed)
• One of the four days per week will be designated as a late shift, meaning the clinician completes the last patient of the day
• Call required 1 night per week
• Weekend requirement of 1 weekend every other month
• Float to other units as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience not required; local candidates accepted
• Scrubs are provided
• Self-scheduling unit
• 24-hour orientation
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Required skills include: Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult), IABP Placement/Removal, Impella Insertion, Interventional Catheterizations, Left and Right Heart Catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz Monitoring, Rotablator Atherectomy, Scrub Procedures, Antiarrhythmics, Antihypertensives, Emergency Medications, IV Vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Reversal Agents, Thrombolytics, IV Infusion Pumps, Starting and Maintaining IVs, Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Cardioversion, Circulate Procedures, End-Tidal CO2 Monitoring, Infection Prevention, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Monitoring Procedural Sedation, Sheath Removal/Monitoring, and Topical Hemostasis (D-Stat, Chito-Seal, Syvek Patch)
• Preferred skills include: Pre/Post Procedure, Special Procedures, ASD Closures, TAVR, Valvuloplasty, Watchman Procedure, Angioplasty, Carotid Stenting, Central Venous Access, Dialysis Graft Creation/Revision, Endovascular Interventions, Scrub Procedures (Vascular), Stent Graft Placement, SVC/IVC Venography, Thoracic Aortography, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, External Compression Devices, Hypothermia Protocol, Laser-Assisted Procedures, Malignant Hyperthermia Protocol, Obtain 12-Lead EKG/ECG, Radiation and Laser Safety, and Vascular Closure Systems
• Unit systems include: Pyxis, MAC LAB, CUPID, EPIC, and SBAR
• Patients served include adults and geriatrics
