Cath Lab Technologist Job in Tyler, TX

You will work as a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist at CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital Tyler, a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 6, 2026. This position offers a 4-day work week with 10-hour shifts and weekly pay of $3,650.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the catheterization lab environment, ensuring all equipment is ready for procedures
• Operate essential equipment including fluoroscopy imaging and digital image acquisition systems
• Document patient information and hemodynamic measurements with accuracy
• Maintain aseptic technique and strict patient safety standards throughout all procedures
• Serve as the radiation safety representative during X-ray operations
• Collaborate with the medical team to optimize patient care and departmental efficiency
• Anticipate and support physician needs during cardiac catheterization procedures
• Perform equipment setup and operation for various catheterization lab technologies
• Participate in daily room checks and supply stocking
• Adhere to organizational policies for patient safety, privacy, and infection control

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiology Technology, associate's degree in a healthcare-related field, or acceptable equivalent
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience required
• Texas MRT or LMRT licensure by TMB
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — AHA only
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification — AHA only
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification — AHA only (if facility serves pediatric patients)
• 0–1 year of experience in an acute care setting is preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• RCIS, RCES, or RCS certification by CCI
• ARRT certifications in relevant specialties
